Drivers Will Need To Take A Detour Route On Williams Road During Repairs

A detour route has been provided for drivers who usually travel in the Williams Road area near U.S. Highway 92.

SEFFNER, FL — Repair time has been extended in the southbound lane of Williams Road in Seffner following Friday's effects of heavy rains, Hillsborough County officials said.

Williams Road between U.S. Highway 92 and Joe Evert Road will remain closed through Friday as work crews continue to repair the washed-out roadway. The detour route is Harney Road to County Road 579 to U.S. Highway 92. The detour route will be visible, authorities said.

The northbound lane will remain open to traffic. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes and use caution when in the area.
