Wrongful Death Lawsuit Filed Over Fatal Boca Raton Semi-Truck Crash (bocapost.com) — A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed over a fatal rear-end crash on North Federal Highway in Boca Raton, alleging a semi-truck slammed into a stopped car at a red light. The suit, filed in Palm Beach County Circuit Court, seeks damages under Florida’s Wrongful Death Act from the truck’s driver and his employer, with all claims still unproven in court.
   

2. South Florida Motorcade Shines Light Across Two Counties (anash.org) — Chanukah lights rolled right through Boca Raton as more than 50 menorah-topped cars formed a South Florida motorcade, including an eight-mile stretch on local roads. Escorted by Florida State Police, the parade linked Broward and Palm Beach counties, drawing spontaneous participants, showcasing decorated buses and rescue vehicles, and sharing messages of joy, kindness, and Jewish pride with thousands of onlookers.
   

3. West Boca's Osprey Point Earns 2026 Municipal Course Of The Year Honor (bocapost.com) — A county-owned golf course inside Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park in Boca Raton has been named the National Golf Course Owners Association’s 2026 Municipal Course of the Year. Osprey Point earned the honor for its course conditions, environmental stewardship, inclusive programming, and community impact, putting a West Boca public facility at the top of a field of thousands of municipal courses nationwide.
   

4. International GoKart Controversy Now A Palm Beach County Lawsuit (bocanewsnow.com) — A high-stakes business lawsuit filed in Palm Beach County, reported from Boca Raton, pits U.S. go-kart importer Kart Sport Distribution against French manufacturer Sodi Kart over alleged efforts to bypass their long-standing exclusivity deal. Kart Sport claims the company used a visiting worker to scout Florida facilities and access confidential customer data, and now seeks an injunction and damages for breach of contract and trade secret violations.
