2 People Seriously Injured In Manatee County Crash: FHP
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the driver of an SUV crossed the median and collided with another SUV early Wednesday morning.
MANATEE COUNTY, FL — Two people were seriously injured in an early morning collision Wednesday in Manatee County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said around 7:30 a.m., a 32-year-old woman from Bradenton was behind the wheel of an SUV traveling north on U.S. Hwy. 19 in the right lane, south of 52nd Street West.
As some point, troopers said she crossed the median and collided with an SUV driven by a 35-year-old woman from St. Petersburg.

The SUV of the first driver overturned in a ditch while the second driver's SUV rotated and came to rest in the left lane of U.S. Hiwy. 19, troopers said.
Both women were taken to nearby hospitals.
