21-Year-Old Killed, Teens Charged In Shooting At Park: Bradenton Police
Two teens were charged with second-degree murder, police said.
BRANDONTON, FL — A 21-year-old was killed and two teens were charged in connection with an overnight shooting in Rossi Park, according to Bradenton police.
Officers responded around 4 a.m. Sunday to a call for shots fired at the park in the 400 block of Third Avenue West and found three people with gunshot wounds, police said, one of whom — identified as Wilfredo Allende — died.
Frederick Kelly, 18, is charged with second-degree murder with a firearm and a 17-year-old is charged with second-degree murder and aggravated battery with a firearm, police said.

The 17-year-old was shot by a person who fired in self-defense, according to police, who said the third person who was struck was hospitalized in stable condition.
