Adoptable Cat of the Week: Angelo is a Playful and Curious Kitten

He's just one of the pets up for adoption at the county's downtown center.

This week's adoptable pet is Angelo, a curious kitten who loves to play.

Angelo, is a 10-week-old neutered brown and white doestic Tiger with short hair. He has been with Manatee County Animal Services since October 22 when he was found aboandoned.

Visit Angelo at the county's downtown adoption center or at the Palmetto adoption center for Animal Services this week. The downtown center is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Palmetto center is open on Saturdays.

January is a great month to adopt. Manatee County Animal Services is offering a name-your-own-price adoption special in January. Come take a look at Angelo and make an offer. Cats, normally priced at $60 will be available at a price comfortable to you. Adopting families must pay the $10 fee for the county certificate and tag in addition to the name your price adoption fee. All adoptions  include spay/neuter, vaccinations, health check, current rabies certificate/tag and a microchip. This adoption special is another step in the County’s plan to become a no-kill community.
