Bradenton Man Faces Child Porn Charges

BRADENTON, FL — A 36-year-old Bradenton man faces a long list of felony charges after lengthy investigation ended in his arrest this week.

According to Bradenton Police, detectives were tipped off that Scott Eric Fulmer might be downloading child pornography back on July 7. That tip launched an investigation that resulted in a warrant search of Fulmer’s 23rd Avenue home on Aug. 31.

Police say Fulmer “confessed to downloading and promoting child pornography" after that warrant search, the agency wrote in a Friday email to media. Fulmer was charged with promoting the sexual performance of a child and 40 counts of possession of child pornography.

He was being held at the Manatee County Jail Friday in lieu of $2,050,000 bond.
