De Soto National To Host 8th Annual Winter Luminary Walk
The event features live entertainment along the park's trails.

BRADENTON, FL – Many neighborhoods in the area light up their sidewalks and streets with luminaries during the holidays. For the eighth year in a row, the De Soto National Memorial will also join in on that wintertime tradition.
The national park will host its eighth annual Winter Luminary Walk on Saturday, Dec. 17 from 7 to 9 p.m. Thousands of luminaries will line the trails of the De Soto National park, leading to live music and historical education.
This year’s featured live music will be provided by the Manatee High School Orchestra, Native American musician Juan R. Leon, guitarist Rex Willis and opera soprano Natalie Almeter.
