Fiery, Fatal Bradenton Crash Under Investigation
Bradenton Police are investigating a Sunday morning crash that claimed a person's life and left a man critically injured.

BRADENTON, FL — The Bradenton Police Department is investigating an early Sunday morning crash that claimed one life and sent another person to the hospital in critical condition.
According to police, a 2011 maroon Chevrolet Malibu was driving in the 4000 block of State Road 64 East around 3:20 a.m. The Malibu left the road and crashed into a wooded area before erupting in flames, an email from the agency said.

Police say a male occupant of the vehicle was hospitalized with critical injuries. He was in stable condition at last report. A second person in the vehicle, “did not survive,” the email said.
Police are working to identify the person who died. They have not released the name or age of the man who was injured.
