Flooding On Palma Sola Causeway During High Tide: Bradenton Police

BRADENTON, FL — Palma Sola Causeway saw minor flooding earlier Tuesday during high tide, the Bradenton Police Department wrote in a Facebook post. (Watch a video taken along the causeway below.)

The flooding happened ahead of Hurricane Idalia hitting Florida as a major storm.

The next high tide will take place at 1:21 a.m., police wrote, warning drivers, “Please stay off the causeway tonight!”
