Florida Woman Accused Of Drowning Pet Lab In Bathtub
A 43-year-old Florida woman was charged with animal cruelty after being accused of drowning her pet Labrador retriever in a bathtub.

BRADENTON, FL — A 43-year-old Florida woman was charged with animal cruelty after allegedly drowning her pet Labrador retriever in a bathtub.
Margaret Kinsella allegedly told a maintenance worker she killed her chocolate Lab because the dog was barking and biting her after a walk.
"'I drowned my dog,'" Kinsella allegedly told the worker following the Nov. 5 incident. She was charged on Dec. 17, according to court documents.

Kinsella, a sales representative for a flooring company, also told the maintenance worker she had been dealing with the deaths of her husband and father over the past year.
The maintenance worker told the sheriff's office the dog was found floating in the bathtub.

Court documents said Kinsella was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
