Harvest House presents 2025 Home Again Luncheon
Now in its thirteenth year, signature event raises funds for supportive housing, addiction recovery services and more

Harvest House, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to champion hope and transform lives through supportive housing, addiction recovery programs and food security, has announced its 2025 Home Again Luncheon. The organization’s signature fundraising event will take place on Thursday, February 20, 11:30 a.m. at Michael’s On East (1212 South East Ave., Sarasota).
The program will shine a spotlight on two inspiring stories. After years of trauma, addiction, and incarceration, one woman found hope and a second chance at Harvest House, rebuilding her life and reuniting with her children. Another courageous young woman escaped life-threatening domestic abuse to find safety and a brighter future for herself and her children.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Harvest House programs that serve more than 800 adults and children each year who are facing various challenges, including mental illness, substance abuse, physical illness, domestic and community violence, poverty, and insecure housing. These barriers can rob dignity for generations. In 2024, Harvest House served 576 households, comprising more than 800 individuals, through its housing and community-based case management.

“At Harvest House, dignity is not just a value—it’s a non-negotiable pillar for rebuilding lives. Every person deserves to feel seen, respected, and valued, especially during their most vulnerable moments,” said Harvest House CEO Erin Minor.
“Extending dignity to another human being reminds us of our shared humanity, and it drives our commitment to creating a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. We invite the community to our luncheon to learn more about our work and hear from individuals whose lives were transformed through our services.”

There were nearly 330 in attendance for the 2024 Home Again Luncheon; the event netted $250,400. This year, supported by a $100,000 match from Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation and Jerry and Fay Bainbridge, the organization hopes to raise at least as much.
In 2025, Harvest House will elevate current President Dan Minor to serve in the dual role of President & CEO; top priorities for the year include: to increase supportive and affordable housing options to serve more low-resource households; to enhance mental health services; and to continuously improve internal processes and its capacity to adapt to the evolving needs of clients and the community.
