Homicide Victim Identified
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is investigating the shooting death.
A man who died at Manatee Memorial Hospital after being shot found shot inside a house at 515 28th Ave. West has been identified as Christopher Stokes, 22.
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the homicide, already the second murder in the county this year.
The Sheriff's Office was called to the house just after 5 p.m. Friday when someone found Stokes. The 22-year-old died at Manatee Memorial Hospital at around 6:30 p.m.

Witnesses told detectives they heard several gunshots and then saw three men running from the house. No other details have been released.
