Man Pointed Laser At Sheriff’s Office Helicopter In Bradenton: Watch
A man in Bradenton was arrested for shining a laser pointer at a Manatee County Sheriff's Office helicopter.
BRADENTON, FL — A man was arrested for shining a laser pointer at a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office helicopter the night of Sept. 18 in Bradenton, authorities said. (Watch a video from the arrest below.)
Tony Hill, 39, was “caught red-handed — or green-handed" — after MCSO reported someone was shining a laser at their chopped and guided officers directly to his home, Bradenton police wrote in a Facebook post.
“Mr. Hill must have been engrossed in his laser-pointing activities, because he didn't notice multiple officers — and a Florida Highway Patrol trooper — approaching,” police wrote.

He was arrested in his backyard and charged with a third-degree felony.
