Manatee Clerk Looking To Distribute Unclaimed Money
The funds were collected by the Clerk of the Court more than five years ago.

BRADENTON, FL – The Manatee County Clerk of the Court may have your money.
The Manatee County Clerk’s office announced it has completed its annual unclaimed funds list, which is it required to do according to Florida Law. The money was collected during the course of the clerk’s court-related activities.
“We hope that (residents) will take this opportunity to claim funds that rightfully belong to them,” said Manatee Clerk Angelina Colonneso.

The funds collected by the Clerk of the Court’s office are considered unclaimed when no claim has been made to the money during the course of a case and/or no court order was entered to disburse the money.
Any funds not claimed by Friday, Sept. 1 will be forfeited and placed into the Clerk’s Fine and Forfeiture Fund.
