Marauders Welcome 1 Millionth Fan At Bradenton’s LECOM Park

BRADENTON, FL — The Bradenton Marauders, the Minor League Baseball team and Single-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, welcomed their 1 millionth fan at LECOM Park during Sunday’s 9-1 victory over the Daytona Tortugas.

Connor Longò, 12, was celebrated as the 1 millionth fan to walk through the ballpark’s gates.

Members of the Bradenton Marauders’ front office were there to help celebrate this milestone, including Marty the Marauder, as Longò was showered with confetti.

“I love Marauders baseball,” Connor said. “I’m so excited that I’m the 1 millionth fan!”

He received season tickets for life, a Marauders jersey and threw out a ceremonial first pitch.

“We are thrilled to celebrate this exciting milestone,” Craig Warzecha, general manager, said. “This is a testament to the continued support of our fan base and community. We look forward to providing memorable experiences for our guests for many years to come.”

The Marauders head to Dunedin this week and return home May 9 against the Lakeland Flying Tigers, the Single-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers.
