SO LONG SWEATS?

Redefined, sweatpants have become America’s everyday wear from day to night — and day again, and the personification of our pandemic weight gain.

The shift sparked Vox columnist Hilary George Parkin’s ode to “All the clothes I’ve loved before,” in which she describes the dilemma of waking up to the decision between two pairs of sweatpants and the leggings worn to bed the previous night.

In the workplace, sweatpants have become an acceptable substitute for “dress pants” as workplace norms became much more relaxed and, in some cases, non-existent.

Love them or hate them, sweatpants are a “thing.”

Many millennial moms like Rachael Brown see them as saviors.

“They made my pandemic life simpler. I had several pairs but reserved my dress sweats for special occasions like laundry day,” laughs Brown. “On the downside, I put on 27 pandemic pounds without ever having to adjust a waistline. My little black dress hates me for that.”

Many women want to achieve a healthier state in 2022. Less burnout, better sleep and healthier habits (including weight loss) are among the most popular goals this year, according to numerous surveys. (Photo courtesy of Your CBD Store)

Weight, weight don’t tell me

While most American’s don’t want to retire their sweats, they are more than ready to address what’s hidden beneath their comfort wear — weight

“Whether your weight moved up or down the scale, the average American experienced dramatic shifts in weight due to the pandemic,” says Dr. Anthony Ferrari, chief science officer of Your CBD Store.

Left unresolved, American’s pandemic-related weight gain will lead to longer-term chronic health issues, according to Dr. Anthony Ferrari, the chief science officer of Your CBD Stores, a leader in hemp-based research and product innovations like TRIM by SUNMED. (Photo courtesy of Your CBD Store)

Resolve to drop weight is hard to keep

The majority of gainers (61%) would like to drop pandemic pounds, but statistics show those who made New Year’s Resolutions may abandon them as early as Jan. 19.

By mid-February, 80% will fail,according to U.S. News & World Report.

Given the size and scope of American’s pandemic weight gain, it’s important that they don’t, according to Ferrari.

Since the pandemic began, about 42 percent of U.S. adults gained weight—29 pounds on average according to the American Psychological Association’s latest “Stress in America”report.

Although determined to lose pandemic weight, the majority of Americans facing pandemic weight gains will begin to abandon their fitness and weight loss goals as early as Jan. 19. National retailer Your CBD Store hopes to help them maintain their resolve with TRIM by SUNMED, a CBD supplement that resulted in up to an 18-pound weight loss among study participants, according to a newly released clinical study. Men gained more than women (37 versus 22 pounds), with millennials reporting the highest average weight gain (41 pounds) among groups studied, according to the study, which also revealed that some 18 percent of study respondents reported an unwanted weight loss.

Although many view pandemic weight gain as more of a cosmetic issue, it has a much broader and lasting impact beyond our ability to squeeze back into our pre-pandemic wardrobe.

Left unaddressed, pandemic weight gains will take an enormous toll on America’s health, according to Ferrari, who worries about weight-related increases in chronic health issues from heart disease, stroke and type 2 diabetes.

These and other concerns were a part of the motivation behind an advanced human clinical study of THC-V, which eventually resulted in the launch of TRIM by SUNMED, according to Ferrari.

New tools like TRIM by SUNMED with THC-V are helping many moms reclaim time-honored traditions like movie night and popcorn. The THC-V in TRIM tell your brain’s appetite receptors you’re satisfied, making it easier to quell stress eating. (Shutterstock)

GOOD NEWS

Clinical study reports that participants experienced up to an 18-pound weight loss, six-inch waistline reduction and as much as nine-point drop in BMI among participants enrolled in TRIM’s human clinical trial.

The product’s secret lies in its ability to “antagonize” the CB-1 receptor and suppress typical cravings that frequently derail dieters, according to a WFMZ-TV report, which cites TRIM’s most notable cannabinoid, THC-V, targets the brain’s appetite receptors and tells the body it’s satisfied. That is opposite the heightened cravings often associated with many other cannabis products in particular Delta 9 THC.

So long sweats.

SLIM WITH TRIM?

TRIM’s efficacy represents welcome news for many consumers like Brown, whose lives have been dominated by constant pandemic change and adjustments.

The product is described as “a solution for those seeking a natural alternative to kickstart their health and fitness journey,” according to a report published by the Associated Press.

Based in science, TRIM’s THC-V product formulation was tested and evaluated under the same rigorous testing guidelines that govern the nation’s largest clinical studies.

Your CBD Store was among other national CBD brands that participated in another critical study: the Validcare Clinical Liver Study, which proved CBD’s safety.

Such investments are key, according to Marcus Quinn, the founder of Your CBD Store, the exclusive distributor of SUNMED products.

“Bringing new and innovative products to our customers on a consistent basis in a safe way that is backed by extensive research and our approach to plant science is central to our mission,” says Quinn, who believes that consumer interest in natural, hemp-based solutions will continue to grow and eventually, outpace that of harsh stimulants.

TWO DECADES OF RESEARCH

The TRIM launch comes after nearly two decades of global research around the connection between herbal dietary supplements and weight loss and couldn’t be better-timed, according to Brown, who says TRIM is helping her keep on track with her resolution to lose her 27-pound pandemic weight gain.

The product has many of the benefits consumers interested in weight loss and good health want and comes without the harmful stimulants, sugar and caffeine frequently among the top ingredients of traditional weight-loss supplements.

“Since it doesn’t have caffeine, I can take it before my biggest meal of the day and still get to bed at night,” says Brown.

There’s good science behind it, according to SUNMED’s CBD experts.

When consumers learned that a clinical trial of a hemp-based weight loss formulation was underway, it generated a wave of interest that quickly grew into a tsunami as word spread over the holidays, according to Your CBD Store General Manager Clay Percy. (Photo courtesy of Your CBD Store)

Results of the clinical study reveal that TRIM active ingredient THC-V is not only a powerful weight-loss catalyst, but also has the potential to serve as an anti-inflammatory agent that helps promote deeper and longer sleep and reduces pain, depression and anxiety.

It works without evoking jitters, headaches and elevated heart rates typically associated with weight-loss products, says Ferrari.

“People are super excited about TRIM,” says Clay Percy, a Your CBD Store general manager accountable for training and developing hundreds of Your CBD Store owners.

Although there are lots of weight loss products around, they lack two things that proprietary SUNMED products have in abundance—science-backed efficacy and consumer trust, according to Percy, who notes that people with chronic health concerns are fiercely loyal to duplicatable and effective products.

“When they learned that a clinical trial of a hemp-based weight loss formulation was underway, it generated a wave of interest that quickly grew into a tsunami as word spread over the holidays,” says Percy.

TRIM may well just be the catalyst needed to socially distance America from its sweatpants. Call it a forced retirement and get on with it: Hello TRIM
