The employees from Music Compound gathered recently for the 2025 Music Compound Annual Awards & Company Retreat. This is an event that Music Compound, led by owner Jenny Townsend, hosts annually to celebrate its team members' efforts and reinforce their collective commitment to the company's mission – to "Inspire. Collaborate. Educate." – and to the community.

Twenty-five of Music Compound's 29 team members attended the event, which included ice breakers, team building and awards, and dinner. The event served as an inspirational celebration of the company’s previous year’s theme, “Generosity and Gratitude”; team members took time to share who and what they are thankful for.

During the event, Music Compound leaders acknowledged the first anniversary at its new, state-of-the-art facility on Bell Road in Sarasota; celebrated the continued gratifying book-reading totals through the Rock Your Summer Reading initiative; highlighted the year’s events and masterclasses – including hosting Tiffany Haas, Wicked, and Genesis drummer Nic Collins, Album Ensembles covering “Nirvana Unplugged” and U2’s “The Joshua Tree”; brainstormed new ways the company could make a lasting impact in the community; and anticipated the approach of its tenth anniversary, which will be celebrated in January of 2026.

"Especially as we approach the tenth anniversary of Music Compound in January, I am exceedingly grateful for our amazing team – neither our continued growth nor our wonderful workplace culture would be possible without them!”

In addition to the annual awards, 11 team members were selected for leadership training this upcoming quarter with coach Howard Partridge, with the goal of achieving personal and professional goals.
