No One Injured in Bradenton Drive-By Shooting, Authorities Say

No one was injured in an early morning shooting with one shot reportedly going through the walls of a home where several people were sleeping, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is investigating an early morning shooting in the 3000 Block of Ninth Street Court West in Bradenton, according to a media release.

Around 2:30 a.m. Saturday an unknown person or persons drove down Ninth Street Court West and fired several shots from an unknown type of firearm, authorities report.

One round hit a parked vehicle. A second round struck and bounced off the exterior wall of a residence. A third round went through a window and penetrated two interior walls  of a duplex where several people were sleeping, authorities said.

No one was injured during the incident, which was not reported until around 8 a.m. Saturday.  Authorities are still processing the scene, according to the sheriff's report.
