Pirates Organization Seeks Talented Singers
Got great pipes? Share your talents with the spring training crowds and the boys of summer.

The Pittsburgh Pirates and Bradenton Marauders are searching for talented residents to perform the National Anthem before Pirates Spring Training games and during the Bradenton Marauders baseball season.
The Pirates will host an open audition Jan. 28 beginning at 9:00am at McKechnie Field, 1611 9th Street West. Each audition will be a capella and no longer than two minutes. Pirate employees will serve as judges at the auditions. Contestants will sign-up for auditions as the enter the stadium and will perform in the order they register. All registrations will be taken on the day of tryouts.
Contestants interested in singing the Canadian National Anthem during the Pirates’ Spring Training match-ups against the Toronto Blue Jays on March 4 and March 7 will be asked to perform the song at the Jan. 28 auditions as well.

Season and group ticket packages are currently available for the 2012 Pirates Spring Training season. Fans interested in purchasing individual Spring Training game tickets will have their first opportunity to do so during a special online-only “Early Bird Pre-Sale” Wednesday through Friday at www.pirates.com.
