Eighteen occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program students from State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota were honored with their OTA pins on May 1. The special ceremony was part of the college’s weeklong Spring 2025 commencement festivities, including graduates, families, friends, and SCF faculty and staff who joined the milestone celebrations. The students graduated on May 2 with associate in science degrees and are eligible to enter the health care field or take the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam.

The OTA program’s students have consistently achieved a 100% pass rate on the NBCOT exam, a testament to the program’s high-quality education. Additionally, 100% of eligible graduates have secured employment in the field, resulting from the program’s successful career readiness preparation.
