Nineteen physical therapist assistant (PTA) students from State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota were honored with their PTA pins on April 28. The special ceremony was part of the college’s weeklong Spring 2025 commencement festivities, including graduates, families, friends, and SCF faculty and staff who joined the milestone celebrations. The students graduated on May 2 with associate in science degrees and are prepared to enter the health care field upon successful completion of the National Physical Therapist Assistant Exam.

The event featured SCF leadership, faculty, students and guests. The PTA program’s students have consistently achieved passing rates exceeding the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education standards. Additionally, 100% of eligible students have secured employment in the field due to the program’s solid career readiness preparation.
