String of Bradenton Car Burglaries Reported, Authorities Say
A purse, a Nintendo game cube and $1 in change were reported taken out of several unlocked vehicles in one night, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Residents reported a series of car burglaries on Seventh Avenue West to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, officials said.
An unknown suspect or suspects entered several unlocked vehicles around the 6000 block of Seventh Avenue in Bradenton during the night of June 29, authorities report.
"While inside the vehicles, the person(s) took various items: $1.00 in change, a purse, and a Nintendo Game Cube. Several of the victims were not sure what if anything was taken out of their vehicle," according to the news release.
There were no signs of forced entry into the vehicles, authorities said.
