Sunshine Skyway: Watch Out for Overnight Lane Closures

If you plan to travel the Sunshine Skyway, keep in mind that there will be some lane closings on and near the bridge span to allow for road work.

• May 31-June 8: One lane will be closed on both northbound and southbound I-275 near the top of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge from 7:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Friday through Saturday, May 31-June 8.
• June 3-4: On Monday and possibly Tuesday, one lane will be closed on the northbound U.S. Highway 19 ramp onto northbound I-275 going toward the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. The closure is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
• June 3-4: The right lane will be closed on northbound I-275 going toward  the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, near the U.S. Highway 41 interchange. The closure will be from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Monday and possibly Tuesday nights.
