Underage Alcohol Sales: 18 Stores Cited

BRADENTON, FL — The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office has announced the results of a weekend operation meant to crack down on stores that illegally sell alcohol to minors. A total of 74 convenience stores and gas stations were visited during the May 20 operation.

According to the sheriff’s office, clerks at 18 of the 74 stores visited across the county during the one-day operation were charged with selling alcohol to a person under 21. All 18 clerks were issued notices to appear in court. The businesses accused of allowing alcohol sales to minors are as follows:

• Isaacs Mini-mart, 1115 57th Ave. W., Bradenton
• 7-Elevent, 5640 14th St. W., Bradenton
• Bradenton Quick Mart, 3006 14th St. W., Bradenton
• Federal Discount Beverage, 2615 14th St. W., Bradenton
• K&S, 727 301 Blvd. E., Bradenton
• Circle K, 836 301 Blvd. E., Bradenton
• Circle K, 5104 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton
• 7-Eleven, 5900 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton
• Fair Mart, 7024 Cortez Road W., Bradenton
• Shell, 6600 Cortez Road W., Bradenton
• 7-Eleven, 8604 Cortez Road W., Bradenton
• 7-Eleven, 5914 State Road 70 E., Bradenton
• Speedway, 11002 State Road 64 E., Bradenton
