Amber Alert Issued for 4-Year-Old Florida Girl

Breaking: An Amber Alert has been issued for a 4-year-old girl last seen in Lakeland.

LAKELAND, FL — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued an Amber Alert for a 4-year-old girl last seen in Lakeland.

According to the agency, Rebecca Lewis was last seen in the 6200 block of Highway 98. She may be in the company of Wild West Hogs, 31. The two may be traveling in a four-door, silver 2012 Nissan Versa with an Alabama handicap tag number of 4JL26, an email from FDLE said.

Authorities describe Lewis as standing 3 feet tall and weighing 30 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Hogs stands 5-foot-8 and weighs an estimated 220 pounds. He has red hair, blue-green eyes and a scar on the left side of his head in the shape of the letter “L,” FDLE wrote in an email to media. Hogs also has a tattoo of a blue cross and a Chinese symbol.

According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, Rebecca Lewis was last seen sleeping around 9 a.m. Oct. 8 by her 16-year-old sister at the Lazy Dazy Retreat RV/Mobile Home Park. When the sister woke back up around 9:45 a.m., Rebecca was gone.

Rebecca's parents searched for over an hour before calling law enforcement, the sheriff's office noted in an email to media. When deputies arrived, they used K9s and conducted a house-by-house search. A helicopters was also called in.

"Deputies have developed information that 4-year-old Rebecca may be with a family friend by the name of 'West Wild Hogs' (his legal name)," the email noted. Hogs had his name legally changed. He was previously known as Matthew Clark Pybus and is from Seale, Alabama, Polk deputies say.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Lewis, Hogs or the Nissan is asked to call the Polk County Sheriff’s Office at 863-298-6200 or 911.
