Brandon Man Charged In November Murder

TAMPA, FL — A 49-year-old Brandon man faces second-degree murder charges after an investigation into the death of Gregory A. Walker in November led Tampa Police to his doorstep.

Jessie T. Harris is accused attacking Walker on Nov. 10 following an ongoing dispute between the two men. Police found Walker’s body around 7 p.m. that day after receiving a call about a man down in the 2300 block of North Nebraska Avenue. When they arrived, they found Walker unconscious, suffering from upper body trauma, an email from the agency said.

Walker was taken to Tampa General Hospital, but died later from his injuries.

Harris was brought into custody Tuesday, Dec. 20. His arrest was announced Wednesday.
