• Newsome Takes Home Best Marching Band In 2nd Parade Of Lights (ospreyobserver.com) — Brandon residents packed the streets for the second Brandon Parade of Lights, where local high school bands, businesses, and nonprofits helped draw about 10,000 spectators. The event raised $5,000 each for Hope for Her and PCAT, honored standout floats and performances, and confirmed the next parade for December 12, 2026 under new chair Erica Jourdain.
