Donald Trump Announces Florida Rally
Breaking: Tickets for Donald Trump's rally at the Orlando Melbourne International Airport next week are available online.
MELBOURNE, FL — Tampa Bay area Donald Trump supporters who don’t mind a bit of a drive have the chance to see their candidate live one day after the first presidential debate.
The Republican presidential hopeful has announced a rally at Orlando Melbourne International Airport’s AeroMod Hangar on Tuesday, Sept. 27. Doors to the event open at 4 p.m. with the rally set to start at 7 p.m. The AeroMod hanger is located at 100 Aerospace Drive, Unit 6, in Melbourne.
Trump’s rally comes at a time when Democrat Hillary Clinton’s lead in the polls is beginning to narrow. As of Friday, the RealClear Politics polling average put Clinton ahead nationally by 3 percentage points. A newly released poll conducted by Saint Leo University’s Polling Institute also shows Clinton’s lead narrowing in Florida and across the nation. That poll puts Clinton ahead by 44.6 percent among decided Florida voters to Trump’s 39.6 percent. On the national level, the Saint Leo poll showed Clinton ahead 42 percent among decided voters to Trump’s 36.5 percent.

“This is a 9-point swing away from Clinton since our August poll findings,” Frank Orlando, director of the Saint Leo University Polling Institute and a political scientist on the university faculty, said in a statement. “This is probably a much closer race than the Clinton campaign thought they would be in at this point. The eyes of the nation will be on the presidential debate on Monday.”
That debate is set to take place Monday, Sept. 26 at 9 p.m. EST. It will air on all major networks, including ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CNN.
