Fire Tears Through Brandon Apartment Unit; No Injuries Reported

All residents were able to get out safely after a fire broke out early Friday morning at an apartment complex off Clay Road in Brandon.

BRANDON, FL — All residents were able to get out safely after a fire broke out early Friday morning at an apartment complex off Clay Road in Brandon.

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue received a 911 call from a resident of the apartment complex at 6:30 a.m. reporting fire coming from a large front window of the single-story apartment complex.

Firefighters began an interior attack while additional fire units arrived to conduct a search of the apartment. Firefighters were able to douse the fire within 10 minutes.
