Man With Dementia Missing From Ruskin: Sheriff

RUSKIN, FL — An 81-year-old man who lives with dementia is missing from Ruskin, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Thurmen Adkins was last seen Friday at 11:54 a.m. leaving Fifth Third Bank, 1020 N. U.S. Highway 41, Ruskin. He was driving his 2013 silver Nissan Altima with Ohio tag 211YOJ. Authorities said he does not have his medication with him.

He is 5-feet-6 tall, weighs 160 lbs., has green eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a teal blue shirt, blue shorts and tan moccasin shoes. The left rear bumper of his car is hanging from a previous crash.
