Ruskin Man Hit By Car, Killed On U.S. 41 In Gibsonton: Troopers

GIBSONTON, FL — A 56-year-old man from Ruskin was hit and killed by a car on Saturday afternoon near Gibsonton on U.S. Highway 41, a Florida Highway Patrol news release said.

According to investigators, the victim was walking in the southbound lane of U.S. 41 before 5 p.m.

A car driven by a 51-year-old Tampa man hit the victim on U.S. 41 southbound near Nundy Avenue, detectives said.

The victim died at the crash location, troopers said.
