Tampa Man Killed in State Road 60 Crash Identified
Breaking: A two-vehicle crash on State Road 60 left a Tampa man dead and a Lithia man injured.

POLK COUNTY, FL — A 29-year-old Tampa man is dead following a Tuesday morning crash on State Road 60 in Polk County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Jhoan Munoz was driving a 2009 Nissan around 5:50 a.m. Oct. 4, just west of 80 Foot Road. Troopers say he was heading west in the inside lane at a high rate of speed. At that time, a semi-truck driven by Darryl Wayne Taylor, 55, of Lithia was heading east.
Munoz lost control of his four-door vehicle, a highway patrol report said. The Nissan entered the median, rotated and moved into the eastbound lanes where it collided with the truck.
