Hakken Boys Safe and Sound

The boys appear to be adjusting well despite being abducted last week and traveling to Cuba.

The young Hakken boys, Cole, 4, and Chase, 2, stood on the front lawn of their grandparents' home this morning flanked by reporters and cameras.

The boys waved to the crowd and showed off their toys. Their tumultous journey not seemingly affecting their bubbly personalities and smiles.

Just over a week ago, a manhunt for the Hakkens began after their father Joshua, 35, was accused of breaking into his mother-in-law, Patricia Hauser's Carrollwood area home, tying her up and taking his two young children by force. His flight with the children would eventually end up in Cuba on April 9.

After the elder Hakkens were arrested, the boys were transported back to their grandparents' home. On Thursday, April 11, the Hasuers held a press conference where they thanked the public and allowed the boys' photographs to be taken.

Shortly before the press conference, Judge Walter Heinrich denied bail for the boys' parents, Joshua and Sharyn Hakken.
