Hospital Plans Prom for Sick Kids

To make the event possible, St. Joseph's Children's Hospital is seeking donations of dresses, shirts, pants and shoes.

As prom night at Carrollwood area high schools fast approaches, the folks at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital want to make sure sick kids who can't attend don't have to miss out on all the fun.

That's why the hospital has set aside a night for the kids to replace their hospital gowns with pretty dresses and suits.

On May 3, the hospital is hosting a special "prom night" for its young patients. The "Arabian Nights" themed prom will include music, dancing, refreshments and photos the patients can treasure for a lifetime.
