K-9 Leads Police to Wanted Man

Deputies arrested James Lamderton on a number of charges, including battery and domestic violence.

Just after 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, deputies were in the Carrollwood area attempting to pick up James Lamderton, 41, who had two outstanding warrants.

When deputies located him at his residence, he fled on foot and caught a short time later hiding in an unoccupied home at 10610 Ilex St.

Lamderton lives on Carrollbrook Circle and was wanted on two outstanding warrants for aggravated assault domestic violence and battery.

He fled on foot from his residence before numerous deputies responded as well as K-9 units.

A K-9 led police to the home where Lamderton was found hiding in the bathroom.  

Police took Lamderton into custody and booked him into the Orient Road Jail on the following charges:

  • Aggravated Assault Domestic Violence (warrant)
  • Battery (warrant)
  • 2 counts of resist without violence
  • Burglary of a residence
