1 Dies In Crash Involving 2 Motorcycles, Car On Courtney Campbell

CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue are continuing to investigate a crash Sunday on the Courtney Campbell Causeway.

The preliminary investigation shows that, around 3 p.m., two motorcycles and one car were involved. One person was pronounced dead at the scene and another was taken by medical helicopter to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Excessive speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.
