2 Women Injured In Fiery Single-Car Crash On U.S. 19 In Clearwater

CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a single-car crash in the southbound lanes of U.S. 19 near Drew Street just after 4 a.m. Sunday.

According to police, two women were taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg after the car they were in slammed into the median, overturned and then caught fire.

Police believe speed was a factor in the crash.
