2-Year-Old Boy Drowns In Clearwater Pool

The child, Ezra Ryan Lynch, was taken to Morton Plant Hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead.

CLEARWATER, FL — A 2-year-old boy drowned in a pool in the 200 block of North Highland Avenue Thursday.

Clearwater police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue personnel responded to a report of an unresponsive child in a pool at 6:14 p.m. The child, Ezra Ryan Lynch, was taken to Morton Plant Hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead.

Police said he is the victim of an accidental drowning.
