2017 Halloween Around Pinellas: What To Know Before You Go

Several Halloween-themed events will take place this weekend ahead of Tuesday's holiday.

CLEARWATER, FL – What evils lurk in the heart of Pinellas County? Ghouls and ghosts of all ages can find out heading into Halloween.

From Safety Harbor to St. Petersburg and everywhere in between, Halloween-themed events will take place all over Pinellas County. Events include fall festivals, costume parties, scary celebrations and trick-or-treat.

Haunted Warehouse

Friday, Oct. 27 through Monday, Oct. 30 from 6 to 10 p.m.

7975 114th Ave. N., Largo

Cost: $6

Forensic Technology will host a Haunted Warehouse in Largo. Pizza will be available for purchase. Proceeds will go to the company’s efforts to provide toys and clothing for the children at Everyday Blessings, a group home for abused, neglected or orphaned children.

Morean Arts Fall Family Day

Saturday, Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Morean Arts Center, 719 Central Ave., St. Petersburg

The Morean Arts Center will host free fall festivities during its Fall Family Day. Activities include pumpkin painting, face painting, making slime, leaf wreath making, spooky cookie decorating, a DIY photo booth and more. Wearing costumes is encouraged.

Halloween Bash: Spirit Animal Ball

Friday, Oct. 28 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Hawthorne Bottle Shop, 2927 Central Ave., St. Petersburg

Celebrate Halloween by donning your best ears, tails and/or scales and joining the fun at Hawthorne Bottle Shop.

Coveaween Art Bash and Costume Party

Saturday, Oct. 28 from 4 p.m. to midnight

Creative Opportunities & Visual Entertainment, 5705 Park Blvd., Pinellas Park

More than 20 local artists will be featured in this exhibition, which features drink, food music and a costume contest. The most original costume will win $100, announced at 10 p.m. Trick-or-treat for children will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. After 6 p.m. is for 18 years and older.

Yelloween Spooktacular at the Vinoy

Saturday, Oct. 28 at 8 p.m.

The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg, 501 Fifth Ave. N.E.

Cost: $80

The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg will become a haunted hideaway for its third annual Yelloween Party, named after the yellow label of its champagne sponsor, Veuve Clicquot. The event includes entertainment by DG CR, fide food stations, a glass of Vueve Clicquot and a cocktail from the Diageo-sponsored bar. 9th Annual Florida Halloween Halfathon & 5K Race

Main Street Trick-or-Treat

Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Downtown Safety Harbor

Little trick-or-treaters are invited to Safety Harbor’s Main Street to trick-or-treat in a safe family atmosphere. Main Street businesses, City Hall and Fire Station 52 will hand out treats.

Boo Bash at Spectrum Field

Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Spectrum Field, 601 N. Old Coachman Road, Clearwater

Spectrum Field will host a free Halloween celebration featuring interactive areas for children, including hay rides, games, a costume parade on the field and candy.
