Bicyclist Dies After Drew Street Crash
A Tuesday night crash on Drew Street left a 45-year-old man dead.

CLEARWATER, FL — The Clearwater Police Department is investigating a Tuesday night crash that left a 45-year-old bicyclist dead.
According to the police department, Robert Clark, 59, of Safety Harbor was driving a Chevrolet Silverado on Drew Street late Tuesday night. As Clark drove westbound near Booth Avenue, police say the male bicyclist rode in front of the truck. Clark, authorities say, was unable to stop.
The bicyclist was taken to Bayfront Health after the crash, but died on Wednesday, July 12, police say. The man, who police say is believed to be homeless, has not been identified. Police are still working to notify his next of kin.
