Boil Water Notice for Homes, Businesses Near McMullen Booth, Coachman Roads

The 48-hour boil water notice comes after repairs to a water main break in the area was made Thursday, according to county officials.

A 48-hour boil water notice is issued for homes and businesses near the area of McMullen Booth and Northeast Coachman Roads, according to county officials.

Workers are collecting water samples to test for possible contamination. The precautionary notice will be lifted when results confirm the water is safe to drink.

The area impacted is south of Sunset Point Road, east of U.S. 19, north of State Road 590 and west of McMullen Booth Road.

Only customers of Pinellas County Utilities are affected. Homes and businesses that get their water from Clearwater are not.
