Can't Afford Medical Care for Your Kids? Two New Clinics to Help
Two new pediatric clinics in Pinellas County will charge based on a family's ability to pay for a child's care.

Here's good news for uninsured families in the Clearwater area who can't afford to get regular and routine medical care for their kids.
Two new Pinellas County medical clinics just opened to help.
- The first is at the Pinellas County Health Department's newest center, Mid-County, located at 8751 Ulmerton Rd., Largo. Clinic hours are 2:30-5:30 p.m., Mondays and Fridays, and 8-10 a.m on Wednesdays. For an appointment, call 727-524-4410, ext. 7646.
- A twice-weekly clinic at Boca Ciega High School, 924 58th St. S.,Gulfport, is open from 2:30-5:30 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays. Call 727-893-2780, ext. 2199, for an appointment or before planning a walk-in visit.
The health services are for children and young people under 18. Appointments are available at both clinics. Fees are on a sliding scale based on the declared
