What’s Open, Closed On Christmas 2025 In Clearwater
Here are some closures and schedule changes for some Clearwater government offices, facilities and services.
CLEARWATER, FL — With many Clearwater residents celebrating Christmas on Thursday, here are some closures and schedule changes affecting government offices, facilities and services over the holiday.
Clearwater City Hall, Municipal Service Centers and Other Government Facilities: Closed Thursday.
Clearwater Solid Waste and Recycling Collection: Thursday’s residential trash and recycling collection took place on Wednesday. There will be no pick-up on Thursday. Friday’s collection remains the same.

Clearwater Libraries: All locations close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday and are closed Thursday.
Ross Norton Recreation Center: Open 10 a.m to 6 p.m. on Wednesday; closed Thursday.

North Greenwood Recreation Center: Open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday; closed Thursday.
Clearwater Beach Recreation Center: Recreation center open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and pool closed on Wednesday; both closed Thursday.
Pier 60 Bait House: Open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday; closed Thursday.
The Long Center: Open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday; closed Thursday.
Countryside Recreation Center: Open 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday; closed Thursday.
Morningside Recreation Center: Open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday; closed Thursday.
McMullen Tennis Complex: Open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday; closed Thursday.
Moccasin Lake Nature Park: Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday; closed Thursday.
All Other Clearwater Parks: Open Wednesday and Thursday.
Pinellas County Schools: Schools closed through Jan. 4. Students return to the classroom on Jan. 5.
PSTA: Buses will operate on a holiday schedule, which is the same as Sunday, on Thursday. The InfoLine and Customer Service Centers are closed Thursday.
