Looking for an egg hunt in Clearwater?

Thousands of eggs are up for grabs at Clearwater Beach and Countryside Friday and Saturday. So don't forget your basket before choosing your egg event: 

Clearwater Beach Egg Hunt

When: 6 p.m. Friday, March 29

Where: Mandalay Park, 532 N Mandalay Ave. 

Details: There 4,500 eggs up for grabs. and several age appropriate hunts, for children ages 2 and younger up to 18 as well as for adults. 

Prizes include: free passes to the fitness room and city pools; free exercise class at Clearwater Beach Recreation Center; two free nights at Hilton and a gift certificate to its restaurant; three night stay at Cavalier Beach Resort; gift certificates for Palm Pavilion; and a keg-a-cue from the gas department.

Countryside Eggstravaganza and Open House

When: from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 

Where: Countryside Recreation Center, 2640 Sabal Springs Drive

Details: The Easter Bunny and 2,000 eggs for each age group will be at the hunt.  Age groups are 2 and under; 3 to 5; 6 to 9; and 10 to 12. The event also includes a Touch-a-Truck, Moonwalk and sidewalk chalk drawing. There also is a recreation center open house with demonstrations of different programs.
