Clearwater Boat Burglars Snagged Beer, Liquor

The Clearwater Police Department is searching for a trio accused of breaking into a tour boat and helping themselves to liquor and beer.

CLEARWATER, FL — The Clearwater Police Department is asking for help identifying a trio of people accused of burglarizing a tour boat early Monday morning.

According to the police department, a tour boat on Clearwater Beach was targeted by the trio, who gained entry through an open window. Once on board the vessel, the three males helped themselves to beer and liquor before sneaking back out through the same window.

All three suspects are believed to be in their late teens to early 20s, police say.

Anyone with information about the April 3 crime is asked to call the police department at 727-562-4242 or email tips@myclearwater.com. Tips may also be submitted through Crime Stoppers of Pinellas County by calling 1-800-873-TIPS.
