Clearwater Leaders to be Part of Meeting Addressing Dunedin Crime Concerns
Residents, Dunedin city leaders and Clearwater officials are meeting at the Hale Senior Center at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday to talk about neighborhood concerns.

Crime in a southside Dunedin neighborhood could have a Clearwater connection.
So, Dunedin city leaders are opening the Hale Senior Activity Center in order to hear from residents, address concerns and discuss solutions Tuesday.
Clearwater officials are also attending the meeting so that residents with neighborhood safety concerns and Dunedin leaders can address the issue of crime that reaches crosses the Union Street boundary.

"We will discuss drainage and street projects, safety issues, neighborhood watch opportunities, code enforcement and foreclosure problems, Dunedin Highland Middle School’s progress, recreation needs, and beautification projects," Commissioner Julie Ward Bujalski wrote in an open letter to residents last week.
The Southside Town Hall meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Free child care and food are available.

"The most important element of this meeting is you" Bujalski wrote. "Come work with us to make our Southside an even better place to live."
