Digital Magazine Service, Latest Online Resource at Library

Use your library card to catch the latest issue of some of the most popular magazines.

The Clearwater Main Library new online service that allows patrons with a library card and Internet-enabled device to read and upload current issues of a variety of popular magazines that were once only available in print.

Patrons need their library cards and password to register to use Zinio for Libraries and read titles including Consumer Reports, Good Housekeeping, National Geographic, O and Readers Digest.

The service takes advantage of computer’s capability to search key words and display video and audio.

“Patrons are really enjoying our digital services,” said Jen Obermaier, Assistant Director for the Clearwater Library System. “This new service will expand our capabilities to bring popular digital materials to our patrons, which has become one of the key initiatives they tell us they want to see as part of our library of the future.”
