Dolphin At Clearwater Aquarium Picks College Champion: Watch
A rescued dolphin at Clearwater Marine Aquarium has made his pick for the Georgia vs. Alabama national championship game.
CLEARWATER, FL - Clearwater Marine Aquarium's rescue dolphin Nick has a knack for picking champions. The dolphin is 5 for 6 in his predictions and accurately picked Clemson to win the championship in last year's college football playoff game.
On Monday night, the Alabama Crimson Tide play the Georgia Bulldogs, both SEC teams, for the national college football championship.
It seems Nick has a long track record of success in making sports predictions. While Nick is reportedly "a football analyst, an expert in all things football," he also has a perfect track record in predicting basketball and baseball games, as well, according to aquarium officials.

To help Nick make his predictions, the aquarium marked up two footballs – one with Alabama's logo; the other with Georgia's. (Sorry UCF fans but no ball was marked up for your team.) Those balls were then tossed into the pool for Nick to retrieve his favorite.

Nick is a rescued bottlenose dolphin and he was orphaned and did not learn survival skills as a calf so he became a permanent resident at the aquarium.
