Druid Trail Construction to Close Portion of Sherman McVeigh Drive

Sherman McVeigh Drive near Druid Road is closed to traffic through May 1 as part of the construction of the Druid Trail project.

Missouri Avenue or Betty Lane can be used as detours.

The third phase of the Druid Trail lengthens the route more than a mile with connections to the Pinellas Trail and Glen Oaks Park.

The first two sections of the trail are in place. So far, the route runs from Clearwater Beach to East Avenue downtown.
