Hooters' Music Scores with Customers

CLEARWATER, FL — Hooters might be best known for its hot wings and wait staff, but it seems the chain is also making noise in the music department. It recently ranked No. 1 in a survey for having the best overhead music.

Hooters, which opened its first location in Clearwater back in 1983, scored points for having the best music at a casual dining chain in the ranking compiled by Technomic as reported by Restaurant Business.

Technomic uses an ongoing Consumer Brand Metrics program, in which it asks consumers to give their take on the importance of "music selection is appropriate” when visiting a restaurant. To arrive at the rankings for causal dining chains, Restaurant Business analyzed Technomic’s Top 100 by system-wide sales.

5. Joe's Crab Shack

Hooters of America has more than 430 locations in 28 countries across the globe, including locations throughout the Tampa Bay area.
